I camped!
I went camping for the first time this weekend! We went to Portola Redwoods State Park, which has one of the tallest redwoods in the Santa Cruz mountains.
That is Stephanie and not me in that photo above. She is the camping spokesmodel for the trip and had just rocked tent set-up moments before this photo was taken. I was able to set up the tent I borrowed (small one in the middle) only after she told me how.
Camping was basically like a sleep-over barbecue. Our dinner is pictured above -- teriyaki salmon, portabella mushrooms, asparagus, chicken marinated in a mustard-wine sauce (Frenchified recipe from Stephanie's dad) and sausage.... to be continued!
